About us
Hi, we’re Little Scratch Coffee Roasters, first established by Joel & Katrina Anderson in 2015. We moved into our business home in 2023. In our little shop in historic (and historically adorable) Mount Vernon, we roast in the back & brew in the front, holding it down in the old Shepley’s Pharmacy Building with our great neighbors, Iron Leaf Press and Hilltop Records & Plants.
We’re proud to be the official coffee of Bon Appetit at Cornell College and to be the choice of many great local eateries and shops.
You can visit us for beans and drinks at our walk-up window (the coffee hatch!) on the east side of our building when the weather’s nice, or you can stop in to our Espresso bar and pull up a stool for some puzzle time or a chat. Limited seating and Wifi available. Be on the lookout for classes, tastings, and workshops.
